Pre-Sales Engineer

Location: Chennai,Tamil Nadu,India

GeoConcept, a leading French GIS solutions provider, is opening a commercial office in Chennai.
We are looking to recruit an experienced GIS engineer to work on adapting GeoConcept solutions to Indian data and market.

Role:
The pre-sales role will include builing demonstrations of GeoConcept products (web platforms and software) and presenting to potential clients a portfolio of customized GIS applications in the area of geomarketing and logistics.

Experience desired:

• Strong experience with GIS software preferrably in the area of marketing and logistics
• Experience with web platform development
• Practical knowledge of servers and at least one database software (oracle, mysql)

Interpersonal skills:

• Initiative taking
• Entrepreneurial
• Highly motivated to work in a start-up like environment
• Excellent communication skills in english

Please note that experience in photogrammetry and remote sensing is not relevant for this position.
