Group Company: #* GLENMARK PHARMACEUTICALS # Designation: #Assistant Manager# Office Location: #India# Position description: # This position will support the MEA Business Head in driving business operations and strategy execution across the region, with a specific focus on business development for new markets, business analytics, leadership presentations and cross-functional project management. The role will act as a central coordination and analytics resource, while functional ownership continues to remain with the respective teams. # Primary Responsibilities: # New Market Business Development - Drive evaluation and development of new MEA markets; coordinate market landscaping, opportunity assessment, partner/distributor scouting and initial outreach; maintain opportunity pipeline; coordinate inputs for business cases, due diligence and internal approvals. Business Analytics & Insights - Consolidate and analyse regional business data across countries; track sales, growth, market share, forecasts, key launches and strategic KPIs; identify trends, risks and exceptions; work with Finance/SFE/Marketing to ensure one consistent view of performance. BU Head Presentations & Reviews - Prepare and consolidate materials for monthly/quarterly business reviews, strategy discussions and leadership meetings; convert functional inputs into concise executive narratives. Strategic Initiative Support & Program Management - Support the Business Head on selected cross-functional initiatives such as market entry, organizational/business projects, launch readiness and strategic reviews; conduct focused analysis and coordinate execution as required. Maintain an integrated tracker for priority MEA initiatives; define milestones, owners, dependencies and timelines; coordinate across Regulatory, Finance, BD, Marketing, Portfolio, Demand Planning, Supply Chain and country teams; escalate delays and risks to the Business Head. # Additional Responsibilities: # · Business Development team retains ownership of partner negotiations, due diligence and deal closure; this role supports new-market research, coordination, tracking and analytics. · COMEX / Marketing retains ownership of brand strategy, campaigns, marketing content and launch execution. · Portfolio retains ownership of portfolio prioritisation and product / market choices. · Finance / SFE / functional teams remain the source owners for their respective data; this role consolidates and translates inputs into BU-level insights and reviews. # Reporting Team Reporting Designation: # Senior VP & Business Head - MEA # Educational qualifications preferred Degree: #Science or Pharmacy Graduate / MBA in Marketing / Pharmaceutical Management# Required work experience Years of experience: #Up to 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or associated industries. Exposure to business development, business analytics, commercial operations, project management or strategy support will be an advantage.# Required Knowledge: # · Strong analytical ability and comfort with business data, dashboards and insights. · Strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to create clear, leadership-ready presentations. · Basic understanding of pharmaceutical / healthcare business models and commercial dynamics. · Strong project management, coordination and follow-through skills. · Ability to structure ambiguous problems and convert data into clear business insights.
