Power BI

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team in a development-focused role. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, DAX calculations, and experience integrating Power BI with various data sources. This is a hands-on development role requiring strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills. Develop, publish, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights. Design and implement data models (star/snowflake schemas) optimized for performance and usability. Write complex DAX queries and measures to support business logic and advanced calculations. Integrate Power BI with various data sources such as SQL Server, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc. Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into effective reporting solutions. Implement row-level security (RLS) and data access control as per business needs. Optimize report performance and manage Power BI workspace, datasets, and gateways. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation using Power Query (M language). Contribute to the CI/CD process for Power BI reports and data pipelines if required. Stay up to date with Power BI updates and best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development. Strong experience in building data models, DAX expressions, and complex visuals. Proficiency with Power Query (M language) and data transformation. Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
