Fresher - Industrial/ Product Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Entry Level Industrial Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design, innovative thinking, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create impactful products. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and contribute to the entire product development process from concept to prototype.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the cross-functional team to brainstorm and develop concepts for new and existing products.
2. Create 2D/3D sketches, renderings, mock-ups and prototypes to visualise design ideas and concepts.
3. Utilize 3D CAD software to develop detailed models and specifications that meet project requirements.
4. Work closely with the engineering team to ensure designs are feasible and meet technical specifications.
5. Conduct user studies and gather feedback to inform design decisions and improvements.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes to incorporate into designs.
7. Communicate and present design concepts effectively to internal teams and stakeholders.
8. Assist in the development of product documentation, including user manuals and specifications.

Requirements

Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Good technical aptitude and communication skills.
2. Good problem-solving abilities.
3. Fluent in English. Multilingual is preferable.
4. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
5. Good presentation skills.
6. Should be able to travel for business purposes.
7. Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor).
8. Proficiency in Adobe Suite(Photoshop, Indesign, Premier Pro, Illustrator) and Visualization software (e.g., Blender, Keyshot).
9. Excellent sketching and rendering skills to communicate design ideas visually.
10. Ability to create physical mock-ups and prototypes using various materials and techniques.

Expected Qualification:

1. Completed Bachelor or Master degree with minimum 7.0 CGPA in one of the below disciplines:

• Industrial Design
• Product Design

2. Freshers are eligible to apply
3. Maximum total experience should not exceed 1 year.

1. Training Period Compensation : A monthly compensation of INR 25,000 for bachelor degree and INR 30,000 for master degree holders, plus a performance-based incentive of INR 5,000 per month.
