About the role -

We are searching for an experienced and qualified creative writer to get on-board our Editorial Team. The basic and most important responsibility would be to craft witty deals that generate the interest of our subscribers and make them click the Buy button. A great opportunity to flex your creative muscles and bring out the best in you. That's not all, you stand a chance to work with a team of creative and motivated individuals in a fast-paced and fun-filled environment.

Responsibilities;

1. Write precise, clear & witty deal content. The Content Writer will craft marketing content for a variety of deals ranging from luxury spas, five-star hotel accommodation, ingenious products, etc.

2. The writer should be able to write the deal with an advertorial tone, yet he/she should be intuitive enough to make distinct word choices that are relevant to what we are selling.

3.Research and source relevant info from the Internet. Groupon sells many unique products and services that create an aspirational experience for our readers. The Content Writer must be able to thoroughly research, learn and write content for such deals and ensure that they not only clear readers' apprehensions but also entice them enough to be willing to spend on an off-beat experience/product.

4, Give your 100%. The Content Writer must be flexible, hardworking and willing to meet tight deadlines while keeping up stringent quality standards.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 1.5yrs years of relevant experience (content writing for e-commerce, web portals, and professional blogs).

2. Can write quirky, witty content on his/her toes. Strong command over English grammar and punctuation.

3. Proficient with MS Word and other basic Content Management Tools. Fast word-processing skills and web-savvy.

4. Good time management skills. Ability to work on tight deadlines.

5. Highly motivated and well organized.

6. Knowledge of the Indian e-commerce domain (preferred).
