📱 Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Android Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience who has strong command over Kotlin, MVVM architecture, XML-based UI development, and real production app handling.This role is ideal for developers who enjoy working close to the Android framework, care deeply about performance, memory management, and clean architecture, and have experience delivering stable builds in fast-paced environments.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin (100% Kotlin-first)
• Build apps using MVVM architecture with clean separation of UI, ViewModel, UseCase, and Repository layers
• Design and implement XML-based UI layouts using ConstraintLayout
• Handle Android lifecycle, permissions, background execution limits, and system behaviors effectively
• Work with Retrofit, OkHttp, Gson for REST API integration
• Implement local storage using Room Database
• Use Coroutines effectively with proper dispatcher handling (IO / Main)
• Ensure app performance through memory optimization, threading best practices, and lifecycle awareness
• Debug and fix crashes, ANRs, and OEM/device-specific issues
• Maintain clean, readable, and modular code following internal coding standards
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to provide frequent and stable builds
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions

🧠 Technical Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience
• Strong expertise in Kotlin (mandatory) with strict null-safety practices
• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and Android app structure
• Experience with ConstraintLayout, styles, themes, and resource-based UI management
• Hands-on experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, Gson, RoomDB
• Knowledge of Hilt (preferred) or other DI frameworks
• Strong understanding of coroutines, threading, and memory management
• Familiarity with Android SDK components (Activities, Fragments, Services, BroadcastReceivers)
• Experience handling runtime & special permissions
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
