Game Strategic Planner

We are looking for a Game Strategic Planner who can bridge game design, data analytics, and monetization strategy. This role focuses on planning game mechanics, progression systems, economy, retention loops, and live-ops strategy to maximize player engagement, retention, and revenue, especially for hyper-casual and puzzle games. Key Responsibilities Game Strategy & Design PlanningDefine core game loop, meta loop, and progression systemsPlan level difficulty curves, pacing, and feature unlock strategiesDesign reward systems (coins, boosters, lives, timers, etc.)Create long-term engagement systems (daily rewards, events, streaks) Data-Driven Decision MakingAnalyze KPIs: D1/D7/D30 retention, session length, ARPDAU, LTVIdentify drop-off points and suggest gameplay or UX improvementsWork with analytics tools (Firebase, GameAnalytics, internal dashboards)Run A/B tests on levels, features, ads, and economy parameters Monetization & Ads StrategyPlan IAA-first monetization (rewarded ads, interstitials, banners)Optimize ad frequency without harming retentionCollaborate on IAP strategy (remove ads, starter packs, boosters)Balance fun vs monetization (no pay-to-win feeling) Live Ops & Content PlanningPlan weekly/monthly content updatesDefine live events, challenges, tournaments, or seasonal contentCoordinate with art & dev teams for feature rolloutsMaintain a long-term game roadmap Cross-Team Collaboration• Work closely with:Game Designers (mechanics & levels)Developers (Unity / Android / iOS)UA & Marketing teams (creatives & funnels)QA teams (balance & exploit checks)

Strong understanding of mobile game mechanics & psychologyExperience with hyper-casual, puzzle, or casual gamesExcellent analytical thinking & problem-solving skillsAbility to convert data insights into clear gameplay actionsGood documentation skills (GDDs, feature docs, balance sheets)Familiar with Unity-based mobile games (conceptually)
