Your impact In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of our supplier base, directly contributing to the life-saving products we deliver worldwide. You will: * Assess and onboard suppliers by evaluating technical capabilities and ensuring alignment with Heartstream's quality standards * Lead and execute core quality and manufacturing processes including APQP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, PV&V, and First Article Inspection * Drive Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) during new product introduction (NPI) to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery * Develop and maintain the Supplier Project Book, ensuring clear communication of requirements and expectations * Collaborate with R&D and suppliers on Design for Excellence (DfX) initiatives to optimise product design and manufacturability * Ensure Critical to Quality (CtQ) requirements are understood and consistently delivered by suppliers * Manage part qualification and release activities, including PSW deliverables and line readiness * Support continuous supplier improvement, providing guidance on quality processes and compliance * Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier-related quality issues * Maintain manufacturing BOM and master data integrity, ensuring accuracy through product lifecycle changes * Ensure compliance with processes related to product introduction, qualification, and release Why this role matters Your work will directly impact the quality of emergency medical technology used around the world—helping clinicians and first responders deliver life-saving care. What we're looking for: Essential * Bachelor's Degree/ Vocational Education in Engineering Science, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent. * 2+ years of experience in * Supplier Development / Supplier Quality * Manufacturing or Process Engineering * Quality Engineering Preferred Skills: * Supplier Quality & Evaluation methodologies * APQP, CAPA, SPC, MSA, PFMEA, PV&V * Design for Excellence (DfX) * Data analysis and problem-solving * Supply Chain Management * Continuous improvement mindset * Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills Our Commitment to Collaboration We believe the best outcomes come from working together.
