Executive - Projects & Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute water and wastewater-related CAPEX projects from design till commissioning.

• Prepare project scopes, technical specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules.

• Prepare and review P&IDs, process flow diagrams, layouts, equipment specifications, and engineering documents.

• Ensure engineering standards, GMP requirements, and brewery operational standards are maintained.

• Coordinate with contractors, and vendors for engineering design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.

• Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

• Coordination with interdepartmental stake holders & ensure the smooth execution of project on time.

• Support operation and optimization of Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems, softeners and utility water networks.

• Ensure water quality consistently meets brewing, packaging, and utility requirements.

• Drive initiatives to improve water recovery, reuse, and conservation across brewery operations.

• Monitor water consumption trends and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement.

• Support operation and performance optimization of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and wastewater recycling systems.

• Monitor treatment performance, process parameters, and compliance with environmental regulations.

• Develop and implement projects focused on reducing wastewater generation and improving treatment efficiency.

• Drive projects aimed at reducing specific water consumption (hl water/hl beer).

• Support implementation of water reuse and wastewater recovery initiatives.

• Conduct root cause analysis for process upsets and recurring operational issues.

• Support preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for water and wastewater assets.

• Ensure all project activities comply with EHS policies and statutory regulations.

• Conduct risk assessments, permit-to-work reviews, and contractor safety audits.

• Maintain compliance with environmental permits, discharge norms, and corporate standards.

• Promote a strong safety culture across project and utility operations.
