Project Assistant

Support the educational needs of children at Kids' Home, with a primary focus on children enrolled in the Open Basic Education (OBE) programme and those requiring additional learning support.

Your skills

• B2 English
• Master's degree in special education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Candidate with RCI License in special education is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, preferably in special education or child development settings.

Your tasks

• Plan and deliver educational support for children enrolled in the Open Basic Education (OBE) programme.
• Conduct educational assessments to identify children's learning strengths, needs, and abilities.
• Develop, implement, and regularly review Individualised Education Plans (IEPs).
• Provide individual and small-group remedial education based on children's learning needs.
• Monitor children's academic progress and modify learning plans as required.
• Identify children's interests, strengths, and readiness for pre-vocational or vocational training.
• Adapt teaching strategies, learning materials, and classroom activities to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maintain assessment records, IEPs, progress reports, and educational documentation.
• Support educators in implementing IEPs and inclusive teaching practices.
• Build educators' capacity by introducing effective, child-centred teaching methodologies and classroom strategies.
• Collaborate with counsellors, schools.
• Promote an inclusive, supportive environment
