Job Description (JD)

Position: Junior Engineer – Engineering Department

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing and processing equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot mechanical systems in production and utility areas.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure all engineering work complies with cGMP, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain maintenance logs, records, and documentation accurately.
• Support validation, calibration, and commissioning of equipment.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and implement process and equipment improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Follow safety and compliance protocols at all times.

Required Skills

• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
• Basic knowledge of cGMP and quality compliance in pharma.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

Eligibility

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Freshers or candidates with up to 1–2 years of experience may apply.
• Age below 26 years.
