Site Engineer - Traction & Power Supply

Responsible for supervising and monitoring the contractor's traction power supply and OHE works on an elevated metro project, ensuring execution complies with approved drawings, specifications, quality and safety requirements. The role involves site inspections, contractor coordination, technical interface management with civil/signalling/telecom teams, testing & commissioning support, and progress/quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervising on-site construction, installation, and integration of traction power systems.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to approved design, technical specifications, and safety standards
• Conduct quality checks and prepare inspection reports
• Review contractor submissions (e.g., drawings, material submittals) for compliance with design intent and technical standards.
• Track and report on site progress daily/weekly/monthly to the GC team and client
• Ensure that all issues identified during testing are resolved before final acceptance.
• Assist, witness, and document commissioning tests.
• Support training of on-site teams on operation and maintenance of traction power systems.

Qualifications

• B. E/B.Tech in Electronics /Electrical/ECE - Min 3 years of overall experience
• Diploma in relevant field - Min. 5 years of overall experience
