Architect

Job description

The Architect is responsible for planning, designing, and coordinating architectural works for water treatment plants (WTP), sewage treatment plants (STP), effluent treatment plants (ETP), industrial infrastructure, and related facilities. The role ensures that architectural designs meet project specifications, statutory regulations, functionality, safety, and aesthetic requirements while coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams for timely project execution.

Role & responsibilities

Registered with CMDA / DTCP will be an added advantage

• Prepare and submit planning drawings as per DTCP regulations.
• Ensure building plans comply with statutory rules, zoning norms, setbacks, FSI, parking, and road width requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants for accurate drawing preparation.
• Liaise with DTCP and other government authorities to obtain planning approvals.
• Follow up on approval status and ensure timely receipt of permissions.
• Submit revised drawings/documents and resolve authority queries whenever required.
• Handle Single Window approval processes and statutory clearances.
• Coordinate with departments to obtain required NOCs (Fire, Pollution Control Board, Electricity Board, Water Supply, Local Body Authorities, etc.).
• Maintain all approval documents, drawings, and statutory records.
• Ensure project execution complies with approved drawings and statutory conditions.
• Coordinate with site teams to avoid deviations from sanctioned plans.
• Support statutory inspections and facilitate completion/occupancy certificate approvals.
• Prepare periodic approval status reports and update management on project progress.
• Safeguard all original approvals, permits, and related documents.

Requirements

Preferred candidate profile

• 1-3 years of experience in architectural design and execution.
• Experience in Industrial Projects, Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Power Plants, or Infrastructure Projects is preferred.
