Job Title: Safety Officer

Department: EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)

Location: Apollo

Experience: 2–5 Years preferred

Qualification: Diploma / Degree

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure implementation of workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct daily safety inspections at plant/site locations.
• Monitor use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by employees and workers.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
• Conduct safety induction and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
• Maintain safety records, incident reports, and compliance documents.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company standards.
• Coordinate fire safety drills and emergency response activities.
• Support EHS audits and inspections.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and regulations.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
• Familiarity with safety permits, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
