Sr. QA Engineer

Job Responsibilities: Create test plans, testing strategy and frameworks. Review and re-evaluate the test strategy to adjust for new information, changing risks, shifting priorities, and schedules. Work on 70% Automated testing and 30% manual testing environment. Oversee quality review of various applications. Ensure all products/ features are shipped on time with maximum quality and minimal bugs. Oversee implementation and execution of functional, regression, and acceptance tests. Oversee the creation and maintenance of test data and test documentation. Tests complex API, web and mobile based applications that reference database back-end systems and reproduces, debugs, and isolates problems and verifies fixes. Assists in formulating QA standards and best practices, organizational policies and processes and strategic plans. Understand business use cases/user stories and develop comprehensive test cases. Participate in the review and analysis of business requirements, functional specifications and design documents. Partner with engineering teams to stay informed of new technologies being introduced and to ensure that system components are designed for testability. Help set and fulfill the QA hiring plan for the team including screening and interviewing.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 3-5 years of relevant software testing experience and at least one year of team leading experience.
