We're seeking passionate, self-driven sophomores and juniors to join our remote internship program. As part of our team, you'll gain hands-on experience building real AI applications that solve actual business problems in the eCommerce space.

Position Overview

As an AI Engineering Intern at i95dev, you'll work on integrating large language models (LLMs) into our full-stack eCommerce applications. You'll collaborate with our engineering team to develop, test, and deploy AI-powered features that enhance customer experiences and optimize business operations across digital commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement LLM-powered features for eCommerce applications, such as personalized product recommendations, conversational shopping assistants, and content generation tools
• Develop and optimize prompts for various eCommerce use cases, ensuring context-aware and accurate AI responses
• Design and implement APIs that connect front-end interfaces with back-end LLM services
• Contribute to the development of both front-end components (using React) and back-end services (using Python)
• Assist in evaluating model performance and implementing improvements based on user feedback
• Document your work, share learnings, and contribute to our team's knowledge base
• Participate in regular code reviews and team discussions

Technical Requirements

• Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills
• Experience or coursework in AI/ML concepts, particularly natural language processing
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (GPT, Claude, etc.) and understanding of their capabilities
• Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts and techniques
• Experience with Python is required; knowledge of frameworks like Flask or FastAPI is a plus
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Experience with React or similar front-end frameworks is highly desirable
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git

• Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior at a US or Canadian university
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• Relevant coursework in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or web development

• Building a conversational search interface that helps customers find products through natural language
• Creating an AI-powered virtual shopping assistant that provides personalized recommendations

• Developing internal tools to help marketing teams generate SEO-optimized content
