Position Overview

We are looking for a Junior Magento Developer to join our dynamic eCommerce development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Magento 2 development, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating scalable and high-performing web applications. You will work closely with our design, QA, and backend teams to deliver world-class eCommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 websites, modules, and extensions.
• Implement both front-end and back-end features following Magento coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to build responsive and interactive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and payment gateways into Magento platforms.
• Optimize website performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Manage source code using Git (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket) and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing Magento-based applications.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to coding and security standards.

Technical Requirements

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Proficient in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX.
• Experience with REST / GraphQL API integration.
• Solid understanding of Magento 2 architecture (modules, themes, dependency injection, event observers, etc.).
• Familiarity with Composer, Nginx/Apache, and Linux-based environments.
• Experience using Git for version control and team collaboration.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Magento 2 Certification (Developer / Professional).
• Experience with React, Knockout.js, or Vue.js (used in Magento 2 front-end).
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and automated deployment tools.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
