Position: Assistant Manager Finance

Reporting: To the Finance Manager/ CFO

The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) is IIM Bangalore's startup hub and incubation centre. The centre is structured as a section-8 not-for-profit entity.

NSRCEL's mission is to support ventures in the start-up ecosystem that demonstrate potential to create significant economic and societal impact. This financial year alone NSRCEL has engaged with 1106 ventures through 13 unique program tracks across 82 towns in the country.

NSRCEL is supported by Department of Science and Technology and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NSRCEL has partners with corporates like Alstom, Capgemini, Goldman Sachs, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Pernod Ricard India Foundation and SBI Foundation, among others to support idea stage and early-revenue stage entrepreneurs and startups in focussed themes of climate-tech, women entrepreneurship, and social impact.

 What you will be doing

·       Program Finance & operational support

o   Track Budget vs Actuals

o   Maintain adequate documentation for future audits

o   Monthly reconciliation & address open issues

o   Conduct periodic meetings with program teams on the progress of the program

o   Coordination with Accounting team for proper accounting of invoices as per the budgets maintained in Zoho books

o   Assistance in preparation of Budgets as and when required

o   Track Rate card updates

·       MIS Reporting

o   Publish Monthly & Quarterly Program PnL

o   Track Budgets vs Actuals

o   Assist in quarterly consolidation of PnL across programs

·       Compliance

o   Submission of Quarterly utilization of CSR funds to donors as per agreed timelines

o   Assistance in Audits performed by the Donor or their auditors

Requirements

What you will need to bring to the table

• Bachelors /master's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience working as a Finance Associate
• Exposure to Start up incubation/ecosystem, Financial Planning and Analysis role will be an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Cross functional mindset & ability to front end with Program teams
• Reporting Skills, hands on with MS Office tools, Zoho books
• Exposure to Power BI, Dashboards will be an added advantage
• Attention to Detail
• Deadline-Oriented & a learning mindset
