About the company
IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduce 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.

About the assignment
• Translate the Range & Design direction and generate/visualise relevant ideas.
• Initiate and take responsibility for designs, development of design briefs and support PD/BA's in these areas of responsibility.
• Create design icons.
• Participate in Design review and wash councils for major projects.
• Design and develop on the factory floor with consideration for the production and material possibilities.
• Initiate the use of new material and techniques in design.

About you
• Deep understanding of customer and supplier needs.
• Business experience.
• Deep knowledge of health, ergonomics and sustainability.
• Aware of current trends, contemporary and classic design.
