Electrical Engineer - Systems Design

The PV Design Engineer will provide Solar PV design engineering support throughout the design phase of the project. You'll generate Photovoltaic designs using AutoCAD, including site plans, property plans, array layouts, electrical single and three-line drawings, and equipment elevations. You'll learn and adapt to new concepts/ systems quickly. You'll handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. You'll working in a fast-moving dynamic environment. You'll work under minimal supervision and resolve issues independently based on project/company standards.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical with a specialization in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Instrumentation. 1-2 years of relevant design experience in solar PV or related industries. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD-based software platforms, including BricsCAD and Helioscope. Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting. Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to optimize designs. Planning and controlling abilities to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong business communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams and across departments. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment to meet project objectives.
