HCM & ECP Lead

The Payroll (HCM & ECP) Lead is responsible for owning the entire HCM / ECP module landscape, driving requirement workshops, and converting them into Business requirement documents. This role involves reviewing and guiding configuration, making decisions on wage type modeling, pay scale structures, and time schemas. The Lead will manage integration across various systems (PA → OM → Time → Payroll → FI), handle data replication, coordinate with ABAP, FI, and Basis teams, and oversee testing management including UT, SIT, and UAT. They will also be responsible for cutover planning, migration, compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Income Tax, etc.), governance through stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement initiatives. Technical skills required include SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) experience, schema & PCR configuration, BIB / CPI integration knowledge, payroll posting to FI, debugging payroll issues, and country-specific payroll expertise (India / South Africa / Middle East etc.) alongside parallel payroll testing.
