Data Engineer- Mandatory Rhapsody integration engine/software

Reports To:Data Architect / Project Manager.Job Summary:4 to 5 years of hands­on experience in SQL

• advanced queries, python for data engineering -azure data engineering services is must snowflake analytical layer development, DBT (nice tohave) who can develop, and maintain data pipelines, data cubes and data warehouses. Hands­on working experience with the Rhapsody integration engine is mandatory.Key Responsibilities:Core Duties:Understand the high­level design document and be able to comprehend the technical solutionprovided.Develop the ADF pipeline as per the HLD.Develop the analytical layer in the snowflake analytics schema using the data mappingdocumentUnit test both the ADF pipeline and the analytics schemaDemo the solution built to the Data architect, project manager, product manager etc.Technical Skills or Knowledge Areas:SQLPythonAZURE for data engineeringSnowflake for data warehousing/ Data cube developmentRhapsody integration engine – at least some hands­on working experience (must have)Healthcare data parsing using Rhapsody (HL7, FHIR, etc.) – added advantageRhapsody with SFTP­based file read and parsing – helpfulCollaboration & Teamwork:Have familiarity with slack communication, emails, JIRA/Kanban, demoing technicaldeliverables.Offshore – onshore collaboration model familiarity.Process Improvement:Should be able to answer questions during the QA phase, review phase and be able to handlechange management.Compliance & Reporting:Should be able to create and improve the low­level design documentShould be able to create stakeholder understanding, training documents for the work done bythe developer.Required Qualifications:Education & Certifications:BE/ BtechExperience:2 to 4 years in data engineering – Must have SQL, Python for data engineering, any cloud­based data pipeline/ data warehouse toolspreferably Azure and Snowflake.Must have at least some hands­on experience with the Rhapsody integration engine;Healthcare data parsing (HL7, FHIR, etc.) and SFTP­based read/parsing using Rhapsody is anadded advantage.Performance Metrics:Timely delivery on the user storiesAble to adapt to a fast changing and evolving technical environment.Able to grasp the proposed solution and actively participate in solutioning.Able to communicate the blockers and be able to troubleshoot the problemAble to work to independently in solving low to medium technical problemsAble to communicate very everydayTeam player and able to create a positive, collaborative environment.
