Freight Auditor

Are you passionate about logistics, analytics, and solving complex transportation challenges? Intelligent Audit is looking for a Freight Auditor to join our growing APAC team. In this role, you'll work with global customers and carriers to ensure freight invoices are accurate, resolve rate discrepancies, and help some of the world's leading brands optimize their transportation spend through data and technology.

This position is open only to candidates located within the APAC region. Because you'll work closely with customers and carriers across Asia and the United States, fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required. You'll also collaborate with a global team while supporting customers during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Job Title: Freight Auditor

Reports to: Freight Audit Team Lead/Manager

We use big data to help our customers remove inefficiencies in their global transportation spend. The Freight Auditor will ensure transportation-related expenses are accurate and justifiable, helping the company avoid overcharges and optimize logistic spending.

What You Will Do:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The individual with this position in our company will be expected, on a regular basis, to:

• Submission of Rates via Jira/Email
• Ownership of high-level understanding to customer/carrier rate card execution to perform quality audit process.
• Customer/Carrier contact for Rate questions
• Verification of rates invoices/trouble shooting
• Weekly calls with customers and or carriers. Training to carriers of dispute processes. Training to customers of WCA tools.
• Running proactive reports for troubleshooting.
• Create tickets complete with problem solving information which identifies, effectively communicates and recommends solutions to remove problems for auditor.
• Identify rate trends, communicate to CSM
• Timely audit of invoices to meet customer payment terms
• Timely movement of invoices in pending status to other statuses.
• Identify rate discrepancies and create disputes.
• Timely review carrier responses to disputes and resolve dispute to audited status.
• Communicate to claims auditor exceptions to normal pay in full and dispute process (post audits)
• Participate in new client implementation meetings to review carrier documentation for accuracy, completeness and auditability. Identify and vocalize what is needed to support a successful audit process.

What You Will Bring:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with logistics, shipping processes, and freight management software
• Ability to interpret contracts and pricing structures
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Excel and data management tools
• Prior experience in freight auditing or logistics preferred

Minimum Qualifications**:**

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in freight auditing, logistics, or supply chain management
• Fluent in Mandarin and English

Salary will be typical market range depending on location of candidate.
