| Major Deliverable / Job Description/ Roles & Responsibilities | ||||
| Supervise CNC plate cutting machines (Plasma/Oxy-fuel). | ||||
| Ensure machines are running efficiently with minimum downtime. | ||||
| Monitor cutting parameters such as speed, gas pressure, and temperature. | ||||
| Prepare cutting plans based on production requirements and drawings. | ||||
| Perform nesting to optimize material usage and minimize scrap. | ||||
| Coordinate with stores for availability of raw materials. | ||||
| Maintain records of leftover plates and scrap. | ||||
| Ensure cut parts meet required specifications and tolerances. | ||||
| Work with QA/QC team to maintain standards. | ||||
| Supervise operators and helpers. | ||||
| Assign daily tasks and monitor performance. | ||||
| Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines. | ||||
| Ensure proper upkeep of cutting tools, torches, and consumables. | ||||
| Ensure safe working practices in cutting area. | ||||
| Follow PPE and fire safety guidelines. | ||||
| Maintain housekeeping and hazard-free environment. | ||||
| Required Competencies | ||||
| Strong knowledge of CNC plate cutting (Plasma, Oxy-fuel, Laser). | ||||
| Good planning and organizational skills. | ||||
| Plan plate utilization and track material consumption. | ||||
| Experience in heavy fabrication or steel industry | ||||
| Basic computer proficiency (AutoCAD, Excel). |
