You'll build core technical skills across enterprise data stores and modern analytics platforms while producing audit-ready outputs. Job Summary:
As an Analyst, Data Management within the WKO Data & Reporting team, you will execute data extraction, reporting, and analysis activities under the guidance of senior team members. You will contribute to audit-ready operational, regulatory, and executive reporting while expanding technical capability across OSKAR, EDH, and other WKO data stores. You will support modern platform adoption and learning initiatives, including Databricks and foundational AI/ML-related tasks, with a strong commitment to quality and delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports using Tableau, QlikView/Qlik Sense, and SAP BusinessObjects.
- Write and maintain SQL queries to extract, validate, and transform data for reporting needs.
- Assist with Python scripts and Alteryx workflows to improve repeatability and data preparation.
- Contribute to Databricks engineering tasks and help maintain data pipelines under senior guidance.
- Prepare datasets for AI/ML initiatives and validate outputs to support controlled adoption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver recurring and ad-hoc reporting on time.
- Maintain data quality documentation and support lineage tracking across WKO data stores.
- Identify data quality issues and escalate appropriately while contributing to remediation activities.
- Document processes and control steps to strengthen audit readiness and operational resilience.
- Automate manual reporting activities to reduce redundant data sources and improve efficiency.
- Track delivery commitments and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to the team.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Earn a Bachelor's degree and bring minimum 1 year of experience in data management, analytics, or reporting (including internship/co-op).
- Demonstrate foundational proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Oracle for data analysis and reporting support.
- Apply working knowledge of Python, SAP BusinessObjects, or SQL Developer to assist in reporting and extraction tasks.
- Use BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView/Qlik Sense, or Alteryx to support dashboards and workflows.
- Understand basic AI/ML concepts and show willingness to learn emerging data technologies.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset while following structured processes.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally while documenting work and collaborating to meet deadlines.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Show interest in KYC, AML, or financial services data through coursework or early experience.
- Apply exposure to ETL concepts, data pipelines, or data control frameworks in academic or professional work.
- Leverage familiarity with Databricks, Delta Lake, or similar platforms through projects or early-career roles.
- Explore AI/ML applications such as data quality scoring, anomaly detection, or process automation use cases.
- Strengthen team outcomes through proactive collaboration and a strong feedback-seeking mindset.
- Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, regulated environment while maintaining high quality standards.
- Contribute ideas for automation and standardization that reduce manual effort and improve reporting consistency.
