Accounts officer

Job Profile

• Position: Accounts Officer
• Location: Waluj, MIDC
• Department: Accounts & Finance
• Reporting To: Managing Director

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts including ledgers, journals, vouchers, and entries in Tally or accounting software
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations: purchase booking, sales invoicing, expense tracking, and petty cash
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including vendor and customer reconciliation
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, PT, and coordinate for income tax compliance
• Ensure timely bank reconciliations and oversee payments/receipts
• Assist in monthly closing, MIS reports, and balance sheet finalization support
• Liaison with auditors, CA, tax consultants, and government departments
• Maintain and verify asset register, stock audits, and internal controls
• Support in budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with Company Act, statutory records, and documentation

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (B.Com / M.Com)
• Minimum 1**–3 years of hands-on experience** in an accounts role
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and accounting tools
• Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards
• Strong analytical and numerical ability
