Job Title: Quality Inspector

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct dimensional and surface inspections using instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, and Surface Roughness Tester.
• Monitor and record quality data during various stages of production (e.g. pickling, slitting, Cold Rolling, annealing).
• Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain daily inspection logs, test certificates, and quality reports.
• Ensure product traceability from Raw Materials to Finish Goods.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for customer complaints and internal rejections.
• Conduct final quality check before dispatch and ensure packing quality compliance.
• Assist in internal audits, 5S audits, and QMS documentation.
• Coordinate with production and dispatch teams for quality clearances.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 1–4 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in steel coil or sheet metal manufacturing.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments, ISO 9001 documentation, and QMS tools.
• Understanding of product standards, specifications, and tolerances.
• Familiarity with rejection analysis and continual improvement initiatives.
