Intern - Strategy & Transformation About the Role

This role sits within the Sales, Marketing & Delivery organization of Kimbal, and supports Kimbal's strategy & transformation team to build and implement new solutions. The intern will work on high-visibility projects spanning market research, competitive intelligence, and data analysis — directly supporting senior leadership. 

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain structured databases, trackers, and dashboards for executive business reporting.

• Prepare executive presentations for internal reviews, board discussions, and client engagements.

• Support strategic internal initiatives and support building and implementation of end-to-end solution.

• Synthesize data into crisp, decision-ready memos and strategy documents.

• Assist in documenting and tracking key business KPIs and growth metrics.

What We're Looking For:

• Final-year Engineering or MBA students with strategy/consulting inclination

• Ability to structure and present complex ideas clearly and visually

• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, modelling, and structuring research outputs

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• High attention to detail; structured, first-principles thinking

Good to Have

• Prior internship experience in a startup, consulting, or strategy role

• Familiarity with India's power sector, DISCOMs, or energy infrastructure

• Experience building market research reports or business cases
