Design Engineer - Civil

Location: Bangalore,Karnataka,India

* Works closely with project engineers.

* Produces plan & profile drawings, perspective drawings, overlays, base drawings, map and illustrations, using AutoCAD. Prepares quantities and cost estimates.

* May be expected to design portions of a project.

* Makes calculations, using engineering formulas & skills.

* Use catalogs to specify items where original design is not required.

* Instructs drafters how to reduce designs into completed drawings.

* Performs research  and writes reports.

* Perform research  and writes opinions.

* Use computer to run standard programs in order to solve engineering problems

* May write special programs to resolve unusual engineering problems.

* Must be familiar  with computer-aided design.
