Job Title: Okta Analyst
Overview: We are looking for an experienced Okta Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will design, implement, and support cloud-based identity and access management solutions using Okta, enabling clients to securely manage workforce identities, applications, and access across hybrid and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their identity and access management (IAM) requirements and business access needs.
• Design, configure, and deploy Okta Workforce Identity solutions including:
      Single Sign-On (SSO)
      Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
      Lifecycle Management (LCM)
• Integrate Okta with SaaS, on‑prem, and custom applications using:
      SAML 2.0
      OAuth 2.0
      OpenID Connect (OIDC)
• Configure and manage directory integrations with Active Directory and LDAP.
• Customize authentication policies, group rules, claims mapping, and access policies.
• Implement Joiner–Mover–Leaver (JML) identity lifecycle processes.
• Enable Just‑in‑Time (JIT) provisioning and user provisioning/deprovisioning.
• Support federation with external Identity Providers (Azure AD / Entra ID, ADFS, Ping, etc.).
• Conduct access reviews, entitlement validation, and security assessments
• Provide technical guidance, documentation, and best‑practice recommendations to client teams
• Contribute to overall Zero Trust and IAM security architecture
• Stay current with Okta platform updates, features, and IAM industry trends
• Support audit and compliance initiatives (SOC2, ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Demonstrable hands-on experience with Okta implementations.

• Strong knowledge of IAM principles and cloud-based identity solutions.

• Experience working with:
       REST APIs
       SaaS integrations
       Identity protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)

• Familiarity with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in client-facing roles.

  Preferred Qualifications

• Okta certifications (Okta Certified Professional / Administrator) preferred.

• Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID or AWS IAM.
