Rural Associate

Key Responsibilities

·        Recruit, onboard, and activate POSPs in assigned rural territories.

·        Train, guide, and monitor POSPs to improve productivity and business quality.

·        Achieve monthly & annual GWP targets through the POSP network.

·        Promote all General Insurance products (Motor, Health, Fire, PA, Crop, Liability, etc.).

·        Conduct daily interactions, joint field visits, and performance reviews with POSPs.

·        Execute customer engagement activities: field campaigns, canopy programs, micro‑events, village‑level drives.

·        Provide basic customer support including documentation guidance and claim intimation support.

·        Maintain strong understanding of local geography, customer segments, and rural market opportunities.

·        Coordinate with internal teams using Hindi/English; engage customers/POSPs using local language.

·        Familiarity with rural markets & geography

·        Comfortable with extensive field travel

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum: Graduate preferred
• 0–1 years of experience in Rural Sales, Microfinance, Agri‑inputs, FMCG, or BFSI
• Experience in POSP/agency‑based insurance model is an added advantage

Location

Rural/Block/Tehsil‑level field role (extensive travel required)
