Store Keeper

We are currently looking for a skilled Store Officer with experience in Stores and Inventory. He should be proficient in computer applications. Store Officer- is responsible for receiving incoming material, stacking, storing and issuing of materials along with carrying out necessary documentation at the stores.

Responsibilities:

•  Responsible to store manager.  

• Maintain the store neat and tidy.  

• Stock the materials in proper manner in the appropriate location code number wise and category wise.  

• Carry out periodical physical verification and asses the stock position. 

• Prepare purchase order and submit for signature of manager and send to different suppliers.  

• Receive the goods supplied by the supplier. 

• During receipt of goods from the supplier they help the store manager to check the quantity and quality and stock the materials in appropriate location. 

• Enter the bills in the goods inward register,feed all the indents in to the computer for writing off the materials from the inventory. 

• Issue the materials to the user departments on receipt of indent.  

• Check the indents for correctness in all respects. If found OK, they issue the materials. If they find any mistakes or discrepancies they return the indent for rectification.  

 -  After all the transactions are completed, Verify the stock at the closing hours daily. 

• In addition to the above, any other duties given by the manager or the management.

• Make all the data entries in to the computer.

• Help manager and other store keepers with store management like periodical stock verification, audit and so on.

Requirements

·  ITI/ Diploma in Engineering is required

·  Minimum two experience in Stores and Handling

·   Ability to lift up to 50 Kgs.

·  Proven track record of good communication skills.

·  Proficient in spreadsheet software (Excel) and Word.

·  stores and tools and equipment tracking Software knowledge preferred.

·  Knowledge in preparing Stock for audit purposes

·  Capacity to provide and follow direction

. Ability to work extended hours, as required.
