Solution Architect (Infra)

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Architect with over 15 years of expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in assessing existing cloud infrastructures, recommending cost-effective solutions, and ensuring robust security measures to support the organization's business objectives. Key Responsibilities: 1. infrastructure Assessment and Design:o Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing cloud environments (AWS and Azure) to identify areas for improvement in performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.o Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures tailored to organizational needs.2. Cloud Cost Optimization:o Analyse cloud spend and usage patterns to identify opportunities for cost savings.o Develop and implement strategies for cost-effective resource allocation, including rightsizing, reserved instances, and auto-scaling.o Provide detailed cost-benefit analyses for proposed solutions.3. Security and Compliance:o Define and implement best practices for securing cloud environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.o Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.o Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.4. Collaboration and Leadership:o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategies with business goals.o Act as a technical advisor and mentor to IT teams, ensuring knowledge sharing and capability building.5. Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:o Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure high availability and reliability of cloud services.o Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends, incorporating them into architecture recommendations.o Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cloud performance and security.

Over 15 years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on cloud architecture, infrastructure, and operations. Extensive experience with AWS and Azure platforms, including hands-on expertise in key services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and Azure Active Directory. Proven track record of implementing cost-optimization strategies in cloud environments. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and tools. Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
