Front-end Developer

Responsibilities :

The Web Application Developer will be a member of a global Development team, supporting Legacy systems and web sites as well as developing new features and new Web applications.

The application developer is expected to tackle business problems and strike a balance in delivering a good, scalable architecture and meeting business goals and deadlines. The application developer will follow best practices set by the senior team members and make suggestions and contributions to them.

• The candidate needs to understand web application architecture, has knowledge of standard hosting platform like Azure or AWS, and good working knowledge of several web technologies:

  • JAVA/J2EE is required
  • Database experience like MySQL, SQL Server and /or Oracle is required
  • Javascript
  • CSS
  • HTML

• Well-rounded Front-end and Back-end developer is a plus

• Experience with AEM (and more specifically TouchUI and AEMaaCS) is a plus

• Experience using Code version control like SVN and GitHub is required

• IT Experience with Administrating AWS or Azure environment, Dispatcher configuration and Load balancing is a plus

• Experience in Web Services such as SOAP and RESTful services is a plus

• Expertise in building client-side Middle Tier Development environment using JSP, Servlet is a plus

• Strong Written and verbal English Skills

• BE/BTech with 3 -5 years of experience

Being part of a Global Team, the candidate will participate in Status calls, weekly meetings & collaboration sessions scheduled between 8:00 AM And noon EST.
