The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing floor. Key Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of production workers to achieve production goals. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance. Production Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement production schedules to meet production targets. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, quality control, maintenance) to ensure smooth workflow. Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to ensure efficiency. Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards. Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures. Address any quality issues promptly and effectively. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Utilize lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques. Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, downtime, and quality issues. Prepare regular reports for management on production performance. Document and report any incidents or accidents in a timely manner.
