KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with engineers to identify opportunities for automation within existing textile machinery.
- Involve creating basic 2D or 3D models for modifications that integrate mechanical components with sensors and actuators.
- Develop and test mechatronic systems. Work on designing and building jigs and fixtures that combine mechanical elements with electronic controls.
- Utilize CAD software, program basic microcontrollers, and collaborate with machinists to fabricate the final parts.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Final Year Undergraduate in Engineering or related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic.
- Skills in CAD / CAM, Electrical / Electronic control systems, PLC and microcontroller programming.
