Network Security & IT Lead

The Network Security & IT Lead will secure Medhavi's multi-campus IT infrastructure, protect sensitive data, and drive compliance with Indian and global standards. This is a hands-on role, responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring network and cybersecurity systems across ourgroup companies.Key Responsibilities:Network & Infrastructure SecurityConfigure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.Ensure secure operations of LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi across campuses and offices.Oversee endpoint protection, patching, and device management (BYOD + company-issued).Monitor and manage company-issued laptops, mobiles, and other devices to ensure compliance with security and usage policies.Cybersecurity Monitoring & Incident ResponseEstablish SOC/SIEM monitoring with incident detection and response workflows.Conduct VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) regularly.Lead investigations into security incidents and coordinate remediation.Cloud & Application SecurityHarden Google Workspace, Slack, LMS, UMS, EMS, and other SaaS platforms.Apply access controls, data sharing restrictions, and MFA/2FA across systems.Manage SSL/TLS certificates, WAF, and DDoS protection for websites.Governance & ComplianceAlign IT security policies with the DPDP Act 2023, Indian IT Act, ISO 27001, and ISO 21001.Draft SOPs for software onboarding, vendor risk assessments, and audits.Support compliance audits and ensure consistent reporting.Training & AwarenessRun phishing simulations and IT security training for employees and students.Build a culture of digital safety across the organisation.

Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
