Site Engineer Civil

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Engineer-CIVIL to join our team for solar projects based in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in the field of solar energy projects, with a strong focus on project coordination, stakeholder management, and field execution. As a Civil Engineer for Solar Projects, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of project activities, efficient delivery of materials, and effective communication with various stakeholders. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain detailed log books for all project activities, tracking on-site work, progress, and materials used.
• Liaise with government officials, local authorities, and EPC contractors to coordinate site visits/inspections, and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Ensure timely delivery and proper management of materials at the site, keeping track of inventory and coordinating with vendors and suppliers for procurement.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of the project, adhering to quality standards, timelines, and project specifications.
• Provide daily reports on project progress, highlighting any issues, delays, or concerns, and communicate them to the project manager and other stakeholders.
• Serve as the point of contact for the project team, stakeholders, and external parties, keeping everyone informed on project milestones, challenges, and progress.
• Offer on-site support and guidance to field personnel, ensuring that civil works are executed according to the design specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure all civil engineering activities comply with safety, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including permits, approvals, and contractual documents, ensuring proper record-keeping.

Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:

Technical Skills:

·         Understanding of solar project installation and construction practices with in process QA, tests etc.,

·         Familiarity with civil engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) is a plus.

·         Knowledge of materials used in solar construction and installation including test procedures.

·         Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and technical specifications.

Domain & Experience:

· 2-3 years of field experience in solar projects or construction projects.

· Proven track record of coordinating and managing project activities on-site.

Education:

·         Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/DIPLOMA in Civil/Mech Engineering or Equivalent).

·         Additional certifications or training in electrical safety, renewable energy, or project management are advantageous.

Communication & Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
