The Project Proposal Coordinator (Healthcare) is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, and submission of high-quality healthcare-related proposals, grants, and tenders. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including clinical experts, finance, and program staff to ensure proposals are compliant, competitive, and aligned with organizational goals and donor requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the end-to-end proposal development process for healthcare-related projects, including timelines, task tracking, and submission deadlines

Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical inputs related to healthcare programs (e.g., public health, clinical services, community health initiatives)

Research funding opportunities from donors, governments, NGOs, and private sector partners

Draft, edit, and format proposal documents, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance with guidelines

Support budget preparation in coordination with finance teams, ensuring alignment with project scope

Ensure all proposals meet donor requirements, including technical, financial, and legal compliance

Maintain a repository of proposal templates, past submissions, and supporting documents

Track proposal status, maintain records, and prepare reports on pipeline and success rates

Assist in developing concept notes, expressions of interest (EOIs), and grant applications

Coordinate internal review and approval processes prior to submission
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in public health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred)

2–5 years of experience in proposal coordination, grant writing, or business development within the healthcare sector

Strong understanding of healthcare programs, systems, or public health initiatives

Experience working with international donors (e.g., NGOs, UN agencies, government funding bodies) is an advantage

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with proposal management tools is a plus
