Description

  1. Teaching and Curriculum Development:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops in various areas of management such as finance, marketing, operations, human resources, and strategic management.
  • Create and update course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, and assessments, to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards.
  • Employ innovative teaching methodologies, including case studies, simulations, and experiential learning activities, to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students, including advising on academic programs, career paths, and research opportunities.
  1. Research and Scholarship:
  • Conduct cutting-edge research in the field of management, leading to publications in reputable academic journals, conference presentations, and contributions to scholarly books or monographs.
  • Pursue external funding opportunities through grants and research contracts to support research activities and collaborative projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the institution and across academic institutions to foster interdisciplinary research initiatives and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in management.
  1. Academic Service and Leadership:
  • Participate actively in departmental committees, contributing to curriculum development, assessment processes, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Engage in academic outreach activities, such as organizing conferences, workshops, and seminars, to promote knowledge dissemination and networking opportunities within the academic community and industry.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior faculty members, adjunct instructors, and graduate students, fostering a collegial and supportive academic environment.
  • Represent the institution at professional conferences, industry events, and academic associations, enhancing the visibility and reputation of the School of Management.

  • Stay updated of developments in the field of management through continuous learning, professional development activities, and participation in relevant conferences, workshops, and seminars.
  • Maintain active membership in professional associations and networks, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange with peers in academia, industry, and the broader community.

Requirements

  • A Masters degree in Management, Commerce, Journalism, Mass Communication or a related field from a recognized institution or nearing completion, with a strong emphasis on research potential.
  • A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, with a minimum of 01 year of teaching experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and industry partners.
