Description
The MIS Associate is an entry level data management position in the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning team. The role involves close collaboration with program teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure continuous reporting of correct and complete data and deriving insights through visualization for program implementation. The position demands candidate to have good understanding of excel, prior experience of working as Monitoring data resource, handling large scale datasets in social impact programs. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Support1. Ensure regular tracking of programs to ensure timely data reporting across various Nasscom Foundation program verticals, and maintaining data privacy and compliance standards.2. Manage data systems including data cleaning, and data validation on datasets, as well as call validation among program users to assess the accuracy levels. 3. Support MIS- Data analyst in conducting analysis, development of dashboards and generating relevant reports for internal and external use.4. Strengthen data reporting, management and storage mechanisms; support quality assurance and timely reporting.5. Perform regular field visits to ensure the quality of data collected by the Program team and to verify the accuracy of reported data.6. Manage data repositories and maintain institutional MEL documentation for compliance and reporting.7. Provide technical support to program teams and implementing partners on resolving data related queries to strengthen the system.8. Support MEL team in project related reviews.Qualifications & Experience· At least 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in data reporting and management in any developmental programs or projects is essential.· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), open platforms like Survey CTO, Kobo; knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau preferred.· Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English; fluency in Hindi or another Indian language is desirable.· Willingness to travel as per organizational needs. Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in technology/ Rural Development/ Social Science/ Development Studies or equivalent discipline. Additional training/certification in computer courses considered as advantage.
