Nodal Officer under RTI Act 2005

An RTI Nodal Officer acts as the central point of contact for receiving, processing, and coordinating Right to Information applications.

Role of Nodal Officer at NSDC

1. Recording Incoming RTI Applications  in the tracker

• RTI Portal (Nodal Officer Login)
• Other than Portal (mail, post etc)

2. Transfer to Public Authority (within 5 days)
3. Arranging Inputs from the concerned stakeholders / follow ups and drafting 1st cut response
4. Support CPIO and First Appellate Authority for timely response
