What you'll do
As a Governance Analyst, you'll be working closely with corporate governance and regulatory officers and providing the highest level of professional governance support to the Services Risk Committee and other committees.
You'll also be providing the highest level of professional administrative support by organising effective meetings and preparing accurate, effective briefing papers as well as delivering accurate, robust minutes and effective action management.
You'll also be:
- Acting as a credible, confidential corporate governance counsel to the Services Risk Committee and other committees, acting as a key point of contact for committee chairs
- Making sure that all papers for all supported committees are compliant with guidelines and are circulated in an accurate, secure and timely manner
- Proactively working with colleagues in Services to identify opportunities to deliver better committee outcomes including supporting delivery of enhanced risk culture
- Providing professional support to committee members and senior managers in Corporate Governance & Regulatory Affairs
- Participating in the delivery of training and guidance to the business with respect to corporate governance requirements and meeting administration
The skills you'll need
We're looking for an experienced administrator with the ability to maintain high quality standards and attention to detail while managing high volume processes. You'll have experience of providing secretarial services or be a qualified or part qualified company secretary or lawyer.
You'll also demonstrate:
- Professionalism in interacting and communicating with people at all levels
- The ability to manage highly confidential information in a discreet and professional manner
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, reacting quickly to changing priorities
- Flexibility on hours and to work as part of a team, in a time critical environment
- Good general office skills including the use of MS Office packages
