Data Engineer- Onsite( Bangalore, Pune, Kochi, Delhi Gurgaon, Mumbai)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services such as Big Query, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow, as well as expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data integration on GCP. This is a US client-facing role, so excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical skills are essential. The role requires strong knowledge of SQL, database optimization, data warehousing, and cloud architecture, alongside a solid programming foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and workflows using GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data across multiple sources and systems into the data warehouse or data lake.
• Optimize database queries for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimal latency.
• Design and implement data warehousing solutions and architectures on GCP.
• Leverage GCP technologies to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data security.
• Work closely with clients to understand their data needs and ensure the solutions meet business requirements.
• Debug and troubleshoot data issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
• Conduct unit testing and ensure code quality through refactoring and optimization.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow.
• Proven expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data integration on GCP.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience in querying and optimizing databases on GCP.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing and data architecture on GCP.
• Proficient in SQL Databases (Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.) and NoSQL Databases.
• Familiarity with modern data lake architectures and experience with Snowflake.
• Strong programming skills with the ability to design, refactor, and debug code.
• Experience in writing unit tests and ensuring the quality of code.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, particularly in client-facing situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-native storage and big data solutions.
