Engineering Manager

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure ongoing professional development for team members.
• Act as a liaison between the engineering team and other departments, ensuring alignment of technical goals with business objectives.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient deployment cycles.
• Implement and drive best practices in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, etc.).
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of production systems and services through proactive monitoring and automated recovery solutions.

Microservices Architecture:

• Design, implement, and optimize microservice-based architectures for scalable, resilient, and secure applications.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to define clear service boundaries, API standards, and inter-service communication strategies.
• Lead efforts for system refactoring, ensuring that microservices are optimized for maintainability and scalability
• Stay current on emerging trends in AI/Gen AI/ ML and ensure the team adopts relevant technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Quality Assurance & Technical Excellence:

• Ensure a high level of code quality, maintainability, and efficiency by enforcing code reviews, testing standards, and documentation.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and addressing technical debt, implementing monitoring and logging best practices, and optimizing systems for performance.
• Actively contribute to the resolution of complex technical issues and drive innovation through research and development.
