Engineer II - Flight Operations

UAV Test Pilot is responsible for testing the production RPAS and qualify them based on the delivery requirements. Coordinates in ground and flight operations efforts to include; planning, execution, briefing, debriefing, and safety. Perform preflight checks to assure mission readiness. Maintain daily pre and post- flight and inspection activity logs. Adhere to established outlined safety policies and procedures. Assuring all equipment is; integrated, maintained, inspected. Perform minor integration and maintenance on the aircraft. Collaborate with coworkers on projects. Assist with general office duties. Perform related duties as assigned

Candidates should have sufficient knowledge on engineering of UAVs, handle safe drone flying with industry standard practices and be able to execute field jobs with minimum supervision. Must be familiar with flying fixed-wing electric and knowledge on IC engine powered UAV platforms of various sizes and be able to learn to fly the platform(s) developed at NewSpace Research & Technologies. Must have experience in flying UAVs up to 10kg MTOW class. Must have experience in flying UAVs which are hand and catapult launched. Knowledge of all applicable regulations and policies governing UAV. B.E / B. Tech or any relevant degree
