Engineer II - Software Testing

This role focuses on ensuring the quality of firmware and software solutions for flight systems through a combination of manual, simulation, and automated testing. Key responsibilities include executing functional tests across various environments (SITL, FT, and simulation platforms), developing and maintaining test plans and cases, leading testing on the Unity Simulation platform, designing and implementing automated test pipelines using Python and Bash, performing hardware initialization and bench testing, analyzing performance and resource utilization, and maintaining documentation and QA processes. The role requires strong expertise in testing frameworks like GTest and Pytest, experience with Linux and embedded systems, and a solid understanding of networking protocols. Familiarity with ROS2, Gazebo, DDS, and containerization is a plus.
