Engineer III - Avionics

We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT's product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system. Roles and Responsibilities: • Start to finish ownership of all phases of avionics software development lifecycle • Development of high quality, scalable embedded code for applications such as sensors & servo integration, data acquisition, perception & analysis, flight control, swarming, data post processing etc. • Collaborative work with systems, hardware and flight ops/controls team • Requirement capture, high level and low level design, code implementation, unit testing and integration. • Generate test plans, test cases and ensure unit testing for robustness, reliability and repeatability • Task-breakdown and Mentorship of junior engineers. • Establish scope and framework for standardization of integration processes and common tools identification. Prepare associated documentation for company records and design reviews.
