Sr. Engineer I - Software Testing

This role focuses on end-to-end testing of flight software (FW) stack features across various environments including SITL, FT, and PTT (Unity Simulation) platforms. Responsibilities include manual and functional testing, simulation testing, automation & CI/CD pipeline development, hardware initialization & bench testing, performance & resource utilization analysis, and ensuring release readiness through quality governance and stakeholder collaboration. The candidate will lead technical direction, mentor junior engineers, and oversee the development and maintenance of the embedded test infrastructure.

The candidate should possess strong expertise in GTest (C++ unit testing), Pytest (Python unit/system testing), and experience developing automated test frameworks and regression suites. They should have solid Linux knowledge (shell, permissions, processes, networking tools) and hands-on experience with embedded platforms like Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, and other ARM-based boards. Deep understanding of networking protocols (UDP, TCP, WebSockets) and experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD environments is also required.
