Accounts Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Executive with hands-on experience in Zoho Books to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of bookkeeping, GST compliance, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting while ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

* Manage daily accounting transactions using Zoho Books.

* Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.

* Generate and manage customer invoices and vendor bills.

* Perform bank and cash reconciliations.

* Prepare and file GST returns and ensure statutory compliance.

* Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.

* Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

* Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

* Generate financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.

* Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal teams.

* Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections.

* Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulations.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.

* Hands-on experience with Zoho Books.

* Strong understanding of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and accounting principles.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

* Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with other Zoho applications (Zoho Inventory, Zoho CRM) is an advantage.

* Knowledge of financial reporting and MIS preparation.

* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

* Problem-solving and time management skills.
